LpWSC Supports International Women’s Day Commemoration in Mansa.

Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited on Sunday joined other institutions and members of the public in commemorating International Women’s Day in Mansa District.

The provincial celebration was officiated by the Provincial Minister for Luapula Province, Hon. Eng. Nason Musonda, and brought together government institutions, private sector organisations, and community members to recognise and celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in society.

As part of the celebrations, the Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited team participated in the march past which started from Mansa town and proceeded to Kaole Stadium, where the main commemorative activities were held.

In addition to participating in the procession, the company also provided clean drinking water to members of the public and participants at the stadium, helping to keep the crowd refreshed throughout the celebrations.

This initiative reflects Luapula Water’s continued commitment to supporting community activities while ensuring access to safe and reliable water services.

This year’s commemoration was held under the theme “Rights. Justice. Action for all Women and Girls,” which calls for deliberate action to promote equal opportunities, fairness, and meaningful participation of women and girls in all sectors of society.
