Water Supply

Luapula Water(LpWSC) is responsible for overseeing and managing the provision of clean, safe water to the community. This essential service begins with the abstraction of raw water from various sources, which then passes through Water Treatment Plant to ensure quality and safety. The treated water is distributed through an extensive network of pipelines, supported by pumping stations and elevated storage tanks, ensuring reliable supply to homes, businesses, and institutions.

Sanitation Services

Luapula Water(LpWSC) is responsible for overseeing and managing the safe collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater. This vital service begins with the collection of sewage and wastewater through a network of sewer lines and manholes, which is then transported to the Wastewater Treatment Plant for thorough treatment. The treated effluent is either safely discharged or reused, in future sludge will be processed for disposal or recycling, ensuring a clean and healthy community.

Vacuum Tanker Services

Luapula Water provides essential vacuum tanker services to support sanitation in areas without access to sewer networks. These services involve the collection and transportation of sewage and sludge from households, businesses, and public facilities using specialized tanker trucks. The collected waste is safely delivered to designated treatment or disposal sites, ensuring proper sanitation and environmental protection for the community.

Water Bowser Services

Luapula Water provides reliable water bowser services to deliver clean, safe water to areas facing temporary shortages or lacking piped water connections. These services involve the transportation of treated water using specialized tankers, ensuring access to essential water for households, businesses, and institutions. The bowser services play a critical role in maintaining water supply continuity and supporting community needs during emergencies or infrastructure challenges.
