LPWSC MANAGING DIRECTOR MUKELA SIMBUWA NAMED BUSINESSMAN OF THE YEAR AT ZAMBIA BUSINESS AWARDS

The Managing Director of Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LpWSC), Mr. Mukela Simbuwa, has been honoured with the Businessman of the Year Award at the Zambia Business Awards.

The award recognises outstanding leadership, innovation, and contribution to business growth and national development, bringing together distinguished leaders from across various sectors of the economy.

Mr. Simbuwa’s recognition reflects his leadership in driving transformation within the water and sanitation sector in Luapula Province. Mr. Simbuwa also pointed to ongoing efforts in energy innovation, explaining that the company is utilising waste collected within its catchment areas to generate electricity at its wastewater treatment plant.
