Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Holds 2025 Annual General Meeting

Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LpWSC) successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Teja Executive Lodge in Mansa, bringing together Shareholders, the Board of Directors, and Management to review the Company's performance during the year under review and discuss strategic priorities for the future.

The AGM provided an important platform for accountability, transparency, and stakeholder engagement as the Company presented its operational and financial performance, key achievements, challenges, and progress made towards improving water supply and sanitation service delivery across Luapula Province.

During the meeting, Shareholders received and considered reports from the Board of Directors and Management, including the audited financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2025. Discussions focused on the Company's operational performance, financial sustainability, infrastructure development initiatives, customer service delivery, and ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional efficiency.

Participants also reflected on the progress made in expanding access to water supply and sanitation services, improving revenue collection, enhancing operational systems, and implementing strategic interventions aimed at addressing sector challenges. The meeting further highlighted the importance of continued investment in infrastructure rehabilitation, service reliability, digital transformation, and customer-centred service delivery.

The AGM reaffirmed the Company's commitment to sound corporate governance, prudent financial management, and the achievement of national and sector development objectives. Shareholders and Directors provided guidance on key strategic priorities that will support the Company's continued growth and sustainability while ensuring improved service delivery to customers across the Province.

Speaking during the meeting, Company leadership emphasized the need for continued collaboration among Shareholders, the Board, Management, employees, cooperating partners, and other stakeholders in advancing the Company's mandate of providing safe, reliable, and sustainable water supply and sanitation services.
