LpWSC, 4Ward Development Strengthen Partnership to Expand Rural Water Access

Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LpWSC) has reaffirmed its commitment to improving access to safe and reliable water in rural Luapula Province through a strategic partnership with 4Ward Development Zambia Limited.

The collaboration focuses on the management and operation of small piped water supply schemes in rural growth centres, aimed at addressing long-standing challenges of water access in underserved communities.

Through this partnership, communities are benefiting from improved water quality, efficient system management, and the expansion of new water connections where demand is highest.

To further strengthen service delivery, the two institutions recently convened a closed-door strategic meeting to review progress and align implementation plans for 2026 and beyond. The engagement underscored a shared commitment to sustainable water services, operational efficiency, and long-term community impact.
