Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LpWSC) proudly congratulates Mr. Dickson Phiri on his appointment as District Manager – Commercial Services for Mansa District.

Mr. Phiri brings to the role a strong blend of academic excellence, financial expertise, and practical leadership experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Statistics from the University of Zambia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Copperbelt University.

Before joining the water utility sector, Mr. Phiri built a solid professional foundation in the banking and microfinance industries, where he gained extensive experience in financial analysis, customer relationship management, risk management, and business operations.

His journey with Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited began in June 2025, when he was appointed District Manager for Nchelenge District. In November 2025, he was transferred to Kawambwa District, where he continued to provide strategic leadership and contribute to improved commercial performance and operational excellence.

Throughout his tenure with LpWSC, Mr. Phiri has strengthened his expertise in financial planning, budgeting, revenue optimization, stakeholder engagement, performance management, and evidence-based decision-making. His work has been guided by a firm commitment to accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and the financial sustainability of the utility.

Mr. Phiri believes that access to safe and reliable water is fundamental to public health, economic development, and improved livelihoods. This conviction continues to inspire his dedication to delivering efficient commercial services while supporting the Company's mission of providing quality water supply and sanitation services to the people of Luapula Province.

As he assumes his new responsibilities in Mansa District, we are confident that his strategic leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence will further strengthen commercial operations and enhance service delivery.
