Construction of Chiengi Water Treatment Filters

The construction of new water treatment filters in Chiengi District is currently underway, aimed at improving the quality of water supplied to the community.

This project, funded by the government and implemented through Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company (LpWSC), will enhance the district’s water treatment capacity by effectively removing impurities and ensuring compliance with national water quality standards.

Once completed, the filters will play a critical role in delivering clean and safe water to the people of Chiengi, reinforcing LpWSC’s mandate to provide reliable and sustainable water services across Luapula Province.
